Farewell to Kim Simpson: Jenny MacLeod Village Manager, Leader, and Friend

After nearly five years of dedicated service, we are saying a heartfelt farewell to Kim Simpson, Village Manager at Jenny MacLeod Retirement Village. Today, marks Kim's last day with us, as she embarks on a well-earned retirement filled with adventure and exploration.

A Leader Who Made a Difference

Kim joined our team 2021, stepping into the role of Village Manager at a time when steady, capable leadership truly mattered. From the very beginning, she brought a proactive approach, exceptional organisational skills, and a genuine talent for bringing out the best in the people around her.

Under Kim's leadership, Jenny MacLeod Retirement Village continued to build on its well-respected reputation for quality retirement living across our independent living villas and serviced apartment units. For residents, families, and staff alike, Kim's presence was a reassuring constant: someone who led with both warmth and professionalism and who genuinely cared about the people in her charge.

Kim's departure is bittersweet. We are sad to see her go, yet genuinely thrilled for everything that lies ahead. She and her husband will soon be travelling across Europe before embarking on an adventure around Australia, a long-held dream finally coming to life.
